Brief
Selinunte in Milano (Sansiro quartier) resumes the characteristcs of a liminal ghetto. Selinunte is a complex space, defined by the coexistence of multiple cultures and realities.
Project
Perif Hub is a hub based in Selinunte for young adults’ education focusing on crossing skills for rap, emerging culture of the neighbourhood.
It evolves through a multifunctional school space, an audio-video recording studio area and a stage, with the purpose of developing an artistic-productive and daily-lived ambience. Consequence of this process is to lead to work opportunities involving selected partnerships with industries and music labels, among with with a final community engagement, to make Selinunte the new center for rap creation in Milano.
